With the victory, North Greene improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-8.

Next up, the Buffaloes confront the South Greene Rebels (Greeneville, TN) in a 2A District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. West Greene will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 50-46 non-league win over Grainger (Rutledge, TN).
