Sidney Yellowjackets (Sidney, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Tippecanoe Red Devils (Tipp City, OH), 51-27 in a league bout.
With the win, Sidney upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Greenville (Greenville, OH) to clash with the Green Wave in a Miami Valley bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Greenville lost 34-25 in their recent non-league bout against Parkway (Rockford, OH)
Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Butler Aviators (Vandalia, OH) in a Miami Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Tippecanoe will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Aviators go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 48-46 league loss to Stebbins (Riverside, OH).
