In Saturday's non-league outing, the West Jefferson Panthers (Terreton, ID) basketball squad beat the visiting West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID), by a margin of 44-30.
The Panthers (6-8) will now prepare for their outing against Salmon (Salmon, ID). The Savages go into the 2A Nuclear outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Salmon was beaten by Firth (Firth, ID), 64-30, in a league outing.
The Pirates now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Bear Lake for a 2A South East Idaho outing on Wednesday, January 10. West Side will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 64-7 league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, ID). The Bears record now stands at 12-2.
