The Lockport Porters basketball team scored 30 points and restricted the host Joliet Central Steelmen to 29 in the Porters non-league victory on Saturday.

The Porters now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln-Way West for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9.

The Steelmen (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Wolves come into the contest with a 15-3 record.
