In Saturday's non-league outing, the Bessemer Academy Rebels (Bessemer, AL) basketball squad nipped the visiting Morgan Academy Senators (Selma, AL), by a margin of 20-18.

The Rebels (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Clarke Prep (Grove Hill, AL). The Gators go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record.
