McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV), 35-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McQueen upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Lancers host Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV) to clash with the Cougars in a bout on Monday, January 8. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Spanish Springs won 43-25 in their recent league bout against Douglas (Minden, NV)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Damonte Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 43-25 league loss to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV).
