In Saturday's league challenge, the Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) ice hockey team the visiting Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME), by a margin of 3-1.
The Stags now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cape Elizabeth for a Class B South challenge on Thursday, January 11. Cheverus will clash with a Capers team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME). The Capers record now stands at 1-6.
The Dragons (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Greely (Cumberland Center, ME). The Rangers enter the Class B South challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Greely by Falmouth (Falmouth, ME), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
