In Saturday's league challenge, the Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT) ice hockey team nudged the host Kent School Lions (Kent, CT), by a margin of 5-4.
The Pelicans now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deerfield Academy for a battle on Wednesday, January 10. Loomis Chaffee School will play a Big Green team coming off a 8-5 league loss to Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT). The Big Green record now stands at 6-3.
The Lions (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Millbrook School (Millbrook, NY). The Mustangs come into the battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Millbrook School was edged by Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT), 6-3, in a league battle.
