In Saturday's league challenge, the Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI) ice hockey team bounced the host Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), by a margin of 10-1.

The Mariners now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Raphael Academy for a Division 2 challenge on Friday, January 12. Narragansett will clash with a Saints team coming off a 2-2 league Rogers (Newport, RI). The Saints record now stands at 4-1.

The Huskies (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Chieftains enter the Division 2 challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Ponaganset notched a victory over Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 4-1, in a league challenge.
