In Saturday's league test, the host Stowe Raiders ice hockey team scored a tight 4-2 win over the St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers.
The Raiders (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Harwood (Moretown, VT). The Highlanders enter the test with a 5-2 record.
Next up, the Hilltoppers encounter the Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 8. St. Johnsbury Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Hurricanes enter the test with a 6-0 record after their 3-1 league win over Middlebury (Middlebury, VT).
