Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV), 53-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Reno upgrades its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Huskies host McQueen (Reno, NV) to play the Lancers in a bout on Friday, January 12. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 8-7. McQueen won 56-47 in their recent league bout against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV)

The Miners now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Carson for a test on Tuesday, January 9.
