Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Elko Indians (Elko, NV), 39-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Lowry upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Buckaroos host Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to clash with the Greenwave in a bout on Friday, January 12. The Greenwave go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Churchill County won 42-33 in their recent non-league bout against Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Elko will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Vaqueros go into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 41-36 non-league win over South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).
