Halifax Academy Knights (Daytona Beach, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting University Titans (Orange City, FL), 60-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Halifax Academy upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Knights host New Smyrna Beach (New Smyrna Beach, FL) to clash with the Barracudas in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Barracudas go into the bout with a record of 4-4. New Smyrna Beach won 49-35 in their recent non-league bout against Cocoa Beach (Cocoa Beach, FL)

Next up, the Titans clash with the Matanzas Pirates (Palm Coast, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. University will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 58-41 non-league loss to St. Augustine (St. Augustine, FL).
