In Monday's league test, the Austin Panthers (Austin, PA) basketball squad defeated the visiting Smethport Hubbers (Smethport, PA), by a score of 67-59.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Coudersport Falcons (Coudersport, PA) in a North Tier test, on Wednesday, January 8. Austin will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 5-1 record after their 66-46 league win over Galeton (Galeton, PA).

The Hubbers (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Otto-Eldred (Duke Center, PA). The Terrors come into the North Tier test with a 10-0 record. In their last test, Otto-Eldred overcame Oswayo Valley (Shinglehouse, PA), 80-17, in a league test.
