Alabama High School Basketball - Bullock County overwhelms Straughn

January 6, 2025: Union Springs, AL 36089

The Bullock County Hornets basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Straughn Tigers to 26 in the Hornets league triumph on Monday.

The Hornets now possess a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Opp for a 4A Area 4 game on Tuesday, January 7. Bullock County will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 44-37 non-league loss to McKenzie (McKenzie, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Straughn falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Opp (Opp, AL) to confront the Bobcats in a 4A Area 4 game on Thursday, January 9. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 7-8. Opp lost 51-32 in their recent league game against Bullock County (Union Springs, AL)
