In Monday's league test, the Carbon Hill Bulldogs (Carbon Hill, AL) basketball squad defeated the visiting Gordo Green Wave (Gordo, AL), by a score of 49-35.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Winfield Pirates (Winfield, AL) in a 3A Area 10 test, on Friday, January 10. Carbon Hill will attempt to improve on its 15-4 season record.
The Green Wave (5-6) will now prepare for their test against South Lamar (Millport, AL). The Stallions come into the non-league test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, South Lamar overcame Pickens Academy (Carrollton, AL), 63-22, in a league test.
