The Center-Stanton Wildcats (Center, ND) basketball edged the visiting Mandaree Warriors (Mandaree, ND), 67-65 in Monday's league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Medina/Pingree-Buchanan for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. Center-Stanton will play a team coming off a 76-60 non-league loss to Wilton/Wing (Wilton, ND). The record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Mandaree falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host Garrison (Garrison, ND) to play the Troopers in a B District 8 bout on Friday, January 10.
