Next, the Pointers clash with the Riverdale Chieftains (Muscoda, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities test, on Thursday, January 9. Mineral Point will attempt to improve on its 8-0 season record. The Chieftains come into the test with a 2-6 record after their 65-39 league win over Boscobel (Boscobel, WI).

The Cubans (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Southwestern (Hazel Green, WI). The Wildcats come into the Southwest Wisconsin Activities test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Southwestern overcame Lancaster (Lancaster, WI), 71-62, in a non-league test.
