The Tigers (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bremen (Bremen, GA). The Blue Devils come into the A D1 Region 6 challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Bremen prevailed over Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA), 67-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Catamounts encounter the Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA) in a AAAA Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Dalton will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 54-36 non-league win over North Paulding (Dallas, GA).
