The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT) and the visiting East Hampton Bellringers (East Hampton, CT), observed Old Lyme's basketball team knock off East Hampton by a score of 75-60.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Morgan (Clinton, CT). The Huskies come into the Shoreline challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Morgan dropped by Portland (Portland, CT), 39-23, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bellringers encounter the Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. East Hampton will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 52-45 non-league loss to Cromwell (Cromwell, CT).
