The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Lamar Christian Lions (Purvis, MS) and the host Prentiss Christian Saints (Prentiss, MS), observed Lamar Christian's basketball team overwhelm Prentiss Christian by a margin of 58-25.

The Lions (17-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Laurel HomeSchool (Laurel, MS). The Knight Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Laurel HomeSchool was trounced by Pontchartrain Christian HomeSchool (Slidell, LA), 62-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Saints battle the Woodlawn Prep Wolfpack (Columbia, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. Prentiss Christian will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 18-3 record after their 82-33 league win over Tensas Academy (St. Joseph, LA).
