The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets basketball squad (Hopkins, SC), was nudged 54-51 in Monday's non-league battle with the host White Knoll Timberwolves (Lexington, SC)
With the victory, White Knoll advances its record to 8-6 on the year. The Timberwolves travel to River Bluff (Lexington, SC) to meet the Gators in a AAAAA Region 4 battle on Friday, January 10. The Gators enter the battle with a record of 10-5. River Bluff won 62-47 in their recent non-league battle against Denmark-Olar (Denmark, SC)
The Diamond Hornets now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hartsville for a AAAA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, January 7. Lower Richland will meet a Red Foxes squad coming off a 79-76 non-league loss to Lake City (Lake City, SC). The Red Foxes record now stands at 5-7.
