The Sandpoint Bulldogs basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Priest River Spartans to 46 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Moscow for a 5A Southern Idaho game on Thursday, January 9. Sandpoint will confront a Bears team coming off a 77-31 league loss to Lake City (Coeur d'Alene, ID). The Bears record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Priest River falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Timberlake (Spirit Lake, ID) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 4-2. Timberlake won 64-58 in their recent non-league game against Genesis Prep Academy (Post Falls, ID)
