Nevada High School Basketball - Somerset Academy Losee triumphant over Amplus Academy

The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Somerset Academy Losee Lions (North Las Vegas, NV) and the host Amplus Academy Archers (Las Vegas, NV), observed Somerset Academy Losee's basketball team overwhelm Amplus Academy by a score of 70-6.
The Lions (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV). The Longhorns come into the 4A Sky challenge with a 13-6 record. In their last challenge, Legacy trounced Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV), 70-10, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Archers battle the Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Sky challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Amplus Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Desert Shields come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 39-37 league win over Bonanza (Las Vegas, NV).
