Wisconsin High School Basketball - Baldwin-Woodville holds off Elk Mound

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Baldwin-Woodville Blackhawks basketball team scored a close 38-35 triumph over the Elk Mound Mounders.
The Blackhawks (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Osceola (Osceola, WI). The Chieftains go into the Middle Border contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Osceola nipped Unity (Balsam Lake, WI), 50-27, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mounders confront the Elmwood/Plum City Wolves (Elmwood, WI) in a Dunn-St. Croix contest, on Thursday, January 9. Elk Mound will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 0-10 record after their 49-46 non-league loss to Osseo-Fairchild (Osseo, WI).
