In Monday's non-league contest, the host Blackduck Drakes basketball team scored a good 67-51 triumph over the Laporte Wildcats.
The Drakes (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hill City/Northland (Hill City, MN). The go into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Hill City/Northland topped Carlton/Wrenshall (Carlton, MN), 44-41, in a league contest.
