The Grant Park Dragons basketball squad (Grant Park, IL), was crushed 52-11 in Monday's league battle with the host Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL)

With the victory, Clifton Central advances its record to 10-6 on the year. The Comets host Watseka/Milford (Watseka, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, January 11. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 12-1.

The Dragons (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL). The Panthers come into the River Valley test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Gardner-South Wilmington was routed by Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL), 47-42, in a league test.
