The Dowling Catholic Maroons basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Southeast Polk Rams to 28 in the Maroons league triumph on Monday.

The Maroons now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Urbandale for a Central Iowa Metro - Central game on Friday, January 10. Dowling Catholic will confront a J-Hawks team coming off a 73-28 non-league loss to Northwest (Waukee, IA). The J-Hawks record now stands at 2-10.

With the defeat, Southeast Polk drops to 5-7 on the year. The Rams travel to Valley (Elgin, IA) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 3-2. Valley won 52-39 in their recent non-league match against Urbandale (Urbandale, IA)
