The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Osceola Seminoles (Osceola, AR) and the host Hoxie Mustangs (Hoxie, AR), observed Osceola's basketball team overwhelm Hoxie by a score of 52-19.

The Seminoles (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Rivercrest (Wilson, AR). The Colts come into the 3A Region 3 challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Rivercrest trounced Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR), 54-37, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR) in a 3A Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Hoxie will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record.
