The Maplewood Tigers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Saegertown Panthers to 43 in the Tigers league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Youngsville for a District 10 Region 2 game on Thursday, January 9. Maplewood will confront a Eagles team coming off a 63-8 league loss to Jamestown (Jamestown, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Saegertown falls to 4-4 on the year. The Panthers host Rocky Grove (Franklin, PA) to clash with the Orioles in a District 10 Region 2 outing on Thursday, January 9. The Orioles enter the outing with a record of 2-4.
