New York High School Basketball - Maspeth victorious over Newcomers

In Monday's league contest, the host Maspeth Argos basketball team scored a good 54-41 triumph over the Newcomers Lions.
The Argos (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sinatra (Queens, NY). The go into the PSAL 3A Queens II contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Sinatra was toppled by Grover Cleveland (Buffalo, NY), 36-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lions confront the Queens Tech (Long Island City, NY) in a PSAL 3A Queens II contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Newcomers will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record.
