The Goddard Rockets basketball team scored 32 points and limited the host Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls to 29 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Monday.
The Rockets now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Roswell for a non-league game on Monday, January 13.
With the loss, Carlsbad falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cavemen/cavegirls host Clovis (Clovis, NM) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 8. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 0-0.
