South Carolina High School Basketball - Landrum holds off Blacksburg

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Landrum Cardinals basketball team scored a close 42-37 triumph over the Blacksburg Wildcats.
The Cardinals (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Chesnee (Chesnee, SC). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Chesnee was tipped by High Point Academy (Spartanburg, SC), 42-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal (Simpsonville, SC) in a contest, on Friday, January 10. Blacksburg will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record.
