East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), 53-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, East Coweta advances its record to 4-3 on the year. The Indians travel to Callaway (Hogansville, GA) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 4-2.
The Patriots now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDonough for a non-league match on Thursday, January 9.
