Lafayette Hornets (Mayo, FL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Dixie County Bears (Cross City, FL), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Lafayette moves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Fort White (Fort White, FL) to clash with the Indians in a 2A - Region R1 - District D2 test on Thursday, January 9. The Indians come into the test with a record of 0-14.

The Bears now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Branford for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 7. Dixie County will clash with a Buccaneers team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Bell (Bell, FL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-5.
