The Maxwell Panthers soccer squad scored 13 points and held the visiting Durham Trojans to 0 in the Panthers league victory on Monday.

The Panthers now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Shasta Charter Academy for a Mid Valley bout on Thursday, January 9. Maxwell will play a Grizzlies squad coming off a 9-2 league loss to Redding Christian (Palo Cedro, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Durham moves to 0-6 on the year. The Trojans host Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a Mid Valley bout on Monday, January 13. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Los Molinos won 6-1 in their recent league bout against Paradise (Paradise, CA)
