Acaciawood Golden Eagles (Anaheim, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Samueli Academy Firewolves (Santa Ana, CA), 54-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Acaciawood upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Newport Christian (Newport Beach, CA) to play the Seahawks in a Express bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Seahawks go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Newport Christian won 64-27 in their recent league bout against Bethel Baptist (Santa Ana, CA)

Next up, the Firewolves play the Tarbut V' Torah Lions (Irvine, CA) in a Express bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Samueli Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 90-56 non-league loss to Valley Torah (Valley Village, CA).
