The Almond-Bancroft Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Pittsville Panthers to 49 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wisconsin Valley Lutheran for a non-league contest on Monday, January 10. Almond-Bancroft will battle a Wolves team coming off a 48-21 league loss to Marion (Marion, WI). The Wolves record now stands at 2-3.

The Panthers (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Greenwood (Greenwood, WI). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Greenwood was defeated by Owen-Withee (Owen, WI), 80-32, in a league contest.
