The Houghton Lake Bobcats (Houghton Lake, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Beal City Aggies (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 36-33 in Friday's league test.
The Bobcats (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Evart (Evart, MI). The Wildcats go into the Highland test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Evart was tipped by Northern Michigan Christian (McBain, MI), 86-49, in a league test.
The Aggies now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Pine River Area for a Highland test on Tuesday, January 11. Beal City will encounter a Bucks squad coming off a 39-38 league win over McBain (McBain, MI). The Bucks record now stands at 3-2.
