Eagle Mustangs (Eagle, ID) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Capital Golden Eagles (Boise, ID), 48-34 in a league bout.
With the win, Eagle upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Boise (Boise, ID) to play the Brave in a 5A Southern Idaho bout on Monday, January 10. The Brave go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Boise lost 49-39 in their recent league bout against Timberline (Boise, ID)
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Borah Lions (Boise, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho bout, on Wednesday, January 12. Capital will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 46-41 non-league win over Boise (Boise, ID).
