The Fillmore Central Falcons basketball team (Harmony, MN), was overwhelmed 86-65 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Chatfield Gophers (Chatfield, MN)
The Gophers now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rushford-Peterson for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 13. Chatfield will confront a Trojans team coming off a 54-18 league win over Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 6-2.
The Falcons (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 10-0 record. In their last battle, Plainview-Elgin-Millville trounced Lourdes (Rochester, MN), 72-56, in a league battle.
