In Friday's league outing, the North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) basketball squad nipped the host Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA), by a margin of 50-48.
The Titans (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Elbert County (Elberton, GA). The Blue Devils go into the non-league outing with a 2-12 record. In their last outing, Elbert County was tipped by Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA), 65-63, in a non-league outing.
The War Eagles now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Johnson for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 8. Chestatee will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 75-16 league loss to Loganville (Loganville, GA). The Knights record now stands at 1-12.
