The Sioux Valley Cossacks basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Chester Flyers to 39 in the Cossacks non-league victory on Friday.

The Cossacks now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flandreau for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 8. Sioux Valley will battle a Fliers team coming off a 55-34 non-league win over Garretson (Garretson, SD). The Fliers record now stands at 6-1.

The Flyers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Garretson (Garretson, SD). The Blue Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Garretson was routed by Flandreau (Flandreau, SD), 55-34, in a non-league contest.
