The Conroe Tigers (Conroe, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Willis Wildkats (Willis, TX), 60-53 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers (9-13) will now prepare for their test against Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX). The War Eagles go into the 6A Region II District 13 test with a 7-16 record. In their last test, Oak Ridge was tipped by Grand Oaks (Spring, TX), 69-60, in a league test.
The Wildkats now own a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to The Woodlands for a 6A Region II District 13 test on Tuesday, January 11. Willis will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 54-49 league loss to College Park (The Woodlands, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-10.
