Handley Tigers (Roanoke, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Munford Lions (Munford, AL), 66-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Handley upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Valley (Valley, AL) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 8. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 10-4. Valley won 53-49 in their recent league bout against Russell County (Seale, AL)

Next up, the Lions play the Donoho Falcons (Anniston, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Munford will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 56-45 league loss to Faith Christian (Anniston, AL).
