The Ulysses Tigers basketball team (Ulysses, KS), was overwhelmed 56-35 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Holcomb Longhorns (Holcomb, KS)
The Longhorns now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakin for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 11. Holcomb will confront a Broncs team coming off a 78-37 league win over Wichita County (Leoti, KS). The Broncs record now stands at 6-1.
The Tigers (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Cimarron (Cimarron, KS). The Bluejays come into the Great Western battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Cimarron was overwhelmed by Goodland (Goodland, KS), 40-31, in a non-league battle.
