With the victory, Williamson improves its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to George County (Lucedale, MS) to play the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 8. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. George County lost 74-38 in their recent league challenge against Vancleave (Vancleave, MS)

Next up, the Eagles play the Vigor Wolves (Prichard, AL) in a 4A Area 1 challenge, on Monday, January 10. W.S. Neal will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 62-49 league loss to Escambia County (Atmore, AL).
