South Carolina High School Basketball - Academic Magnet overwhelmed by Battery Creek

The Academic Magnet Raptors basketball team (North Charleston, SC), was overwhelmed 51-21 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Battery Creek Dolphins (Beaufort, SC)

The Dolphins now possess a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bluffton for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 8. Battery Creek will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 54-36 league win over Colleton County (Walterboro, SC). The Bobcats record now stands at 10-1.

The Raptors (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop England (Charleston, SC). The Battling Bishops come into the AAA Region 8 battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Bishop England was overwhelmed by Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 47-42, in a non-league battle.
