The Birdville Hawks basketball team (North Richland Hills, TX), was routed 55-31 in Friday's league battle with the host Richland Royals (North Richland Hills, TX)
The Royals now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grapevine for a 5A Region I District 6 battle on Tuesday, January 11. Richland will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 37-34 league loss to Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-8.
The Hawks (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Denton (Denton, TX). The Broncos come into the 5A Region I District 6 battle with a 11-13 record. In their last battle, Denton trounced Northwest (Justin, TX), 44-42, in a league battle.
