The Clements Colts (Athens, AL) basketball felled the visiting Colbert Heights Wildcats (Tuscumbia, AL), 43-33 in Friday's league test.
The Colts (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL). The Tigers go into the 3A Area 16 test with a 12-0 record. In their last test, Lauderdale County thwarted Lexington (Lexington, AL), 63-39, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Elkmont for a 3A Area 16 test on Tuesday, January 11. Colbert Heights will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 54-47 non-league loss to West Limestone (Lester, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 15-7.
